Bible Memory is a personal project that I'm sharing publicly. This privacy policy explains how your data is handled.

What Information We Collect

  • Email address (for account authentication)
  • Verses you add (Bible references, text, tags, dates)
  • Review history (when you reviewed verses, success/practice marks)

How We Use Your Information

  • To provide sync across your devices
  • To authenticate your account
  • That's it. I don't sell data, share with third parties, or use analytics/tracking.

Data Storage

  • Your data is stored locally in your browser (IndexedDB)
  • A copy is stored on my server to enable sync between devices
  • Data is transmitted over HTTPS (encrypted)
  • Passwords are hashed using bcrypt (I can't see your password)

Your Rights

  • Export your data (use the app's export feature)
  • Delete your account (contact me via GitHub issues)
  • Your verses belong to you

Security

I take reasonable precautions to protect your data, but this is a personal project. Use at your own risk—no guarantees provided.

Changes to This Policy

If I update this policy, I'll update the "Last Updated" date above.
